I refuse to post pointless messages just to get up to 1,000. I mean, I've done it for the past 990, but refuse to do it for the last 10. Check back here tomorrow for the party

Firstly, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you all for coming. I know many of you have travelled a long way to be here tonight, and in all honesty, I am quite literally touched. Well ok not literally touched, more metaphorically. Firstly I would like to thank my family, especially my mum and dad, wife and children for being so supportive. Without their love, guidance and encouragement, I would never have made it.
There were some tough times, there were some scary times. I am sure some of you will recall my 500 post anniversary - it seems so long ago to look back on things. May we all take a moment to think about those people that joined me at 500 but could sadly not be without us tonight to witness 1,000.
So, you will all be asking, what next? After reaching this milestone, surely there is nothing left to achieve. Well my friends, I can assure you that this is just the beginning. I look forward to seeing many of you here for my 2,000 party in a year or so. We will look back at tonight with fond memories, maybe blurry memories. Certainly some odd memories.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the night, don't drink too much, don't do anything I wouldn't do, drive safely, take care, god bless. Be excellent to each other, and PARTY ON DUDES.
