I much rather not add oil to this fire I choose not to participate in this disrespectful, ongoing argument.

I do not have a problem with you 700700, as I said before you are a nice kid....don't take it the wrong way to me 20 is a kid.
My only problem is not with you personally... please allow me to explain...It is with people who have something to say about everything and don't think before they voice their opinion.

By now, many words were said that we can not take back...so please lets just end this now and not continue to hurt each others feelings.

Lets hope so !

anyways i am sick and tired of this ongoing thread, if you have to add something worthwhile
then please go ahead , otherwise let me post some pics up when i get back home so we can
bury this once and for all...

And i promise not to flame anyone , unless they ask for it
Now that's the scholar, mate. Hey, that pic is copyrighted . . . but that OK. You've got my permission.

On another note, while my rhetoric is a bit rusty, I was hoping a little more of you, scholarly mate. It's all fun, and I'll enjoy the pics when you post as with all others pics on this great forum. Don't worry about proving yourself as I was "working you up" and trying your rhetoric. Remember, "you have made a reasonable rebuttal."

As far as college, my silver spoon only took me as far a University of Dallas in Irving, Texas - a private liberal arts (Catholic) and an MBA after that. Remember that it's not only the college that make you who you are, it's what you have learned and applied.

Truly, this is a response from a woman very well respected.

My friend, don't worry. Someone needs to draw the line between personal disputes in order to resolve and end them. As I see it, this problem was started by a topic in the lounge so your "answer" also belongs in the lounge -- not in the main forum or any other sub-forum. Most people I figure probably don't even care but I can see your side and would also be pissed off if someone thought I was lieing when I really was not but that doesn't mean to go crazy proving yourself to all. Frankly, if you want, I can delete both topics and we can continue on as if this never happened but I'll leave that up to you.
Talk about going crazy. Just post some pics as stream requested and talk about something else. 700700 I don't know why you are so defensive and all, is this a bi-product of freedom of speech? As I said earlier why is people stabbing you only, I see some other members share their views but they don't get the same treatment as you do

Officially i'm now backing down from this thread. After reeding all the posts, i realised i don't care and don't want to be part anymore in this discussion. I will keep an eye though out of curiosity to see where the whole thing leads...

Since there is only one active female around, I will save you guys the "him or her" curiosity
If and when I have a problem, I make sure to voice my opinion whether people like it or not

I don't doubt the fact that Jock Yard is a regular on this forum with or without a mask...he still made a valid argument.

Bottom line guys, Jock Yard made his point, which many agree with...700700 made his point as well whether we believe it or not....

Guys, No need to dig further and get ugly...lets just all get along and go back to E60 talk
Well, there are at least two other females around--Latte Lady and Toni. But, I don't think that a female is responsible. I am just covering my bases. Do you mean that he has a right to make his argument or that his argument is valid?

The problem with Jock's approach is that it is annonymous. While I know that the great majority of us are annonymous to at least some extent, almost all of us at least post what we think under our usual screen names. Jock could either have joined simply to make his one post or he could be a regular--either way the post is nothing short of character assassination. In either case, his or her approach is cowardly since he/she has not afforded 700700 the right to face his accuser.

A rule of thumb I follow is to pay no attention to annonymous attacks. The nature of the attack is likely to say a great deal about the validity of the attack and the ethics of the attacker. But, even if an annoymous attack is valid, then I would never know because I have no respect for the motives of an annonymous attacker or the attacker, himself or herself, and, thus, never would read the arguments presented. Given the nature and the lack of ethics involved in annonymous attacks, I would not be surprised to find a great deal of dishonesty and distortion in Jock's attack.

So, my points have nothing to do with the validity or invalidity of the attack. My point is that is would have been appropriate, IMO, if none of us had considered what Jock had to say or replied to him/her period. Annonymous attacks have zero merit and should be treated accordingly IMO.

Comeon..chill out ya all. Find a happy place....oh isn't the E60 forum supposed to be a happy place?

Please don't change this into a flaming forum. We all should feel proud and lucky to belong to this side of the world...driving nice cars, no need to worry about food and lodgings.

Let's just shake hands(virtually) and go back to our favourite topic--E60 or funny blonde jokes

BTW, Miss525, I did a tiny bit of thinking before I type and I am a kid no more (turning 33 this year)....oops sorry, damn it's hard not to start....

Find a happy place...
