After driving home from work today I heard a low hissing sound coming from the area of the trunk hinge - where the hinge comes out from the carpeted area of the trunk. It sounded very much like a slow, steady air leak. Only on the driver side and only audible with the trunk open. Any thought?
Air pressure is fine in the rear tire and I couldn't smell or feel any air escaping from the hinge area.

That area contains the power amplifier for the Logic 7 audio system which has multiple cooling fans that'll kick on if the amp gets too hot. I often will hear my fans running even after I've turned the car off if I've had the music volume up for some time.

Is it possible that you heard the fans running?

That makes sense, thanks Rudy.

Rudy's THE MAN I'll have to listen to my truck area but since I never blast my Logic7 the amps must stay pretty cool. I had no idea there were cooling fans back there - this forum rocks!!
