Electronic in Spare Tire Well??

Does anybody know what the electronic module is in the spare tire well. It is loosely mounted in styrofoam under the compact spare.

I want to put a full size spare in, but not sure how to mount the electronic module.

The Micro Power Module is the white module in the photo. The larger black module with three connectors is the control unit for the Park Distance Control. It's not in the photo but there's also a possibility that a small, thin module is present to the right of the MPM. That module is an antenna for comfort access...
