Just wanted to tell people that there is no savings to be had in combining the lights shipment to one location. The reason for that is the packages are huge and if you combine two sets together the volume weight becomes more than sending them individually, so you actually loose out instead.
For those only wanting the cables I can still combine shipping to a single address.
Because of the way this GB started, I will create a payment page that will allow you to pay for the cables on their own or as packaged with the lights. That way if people have not added lights against their names they will still be able to buy the package if they want. I just need to ensure that we have atleast 11-15 people interested in the lights because my negotiated price was based on that volume of sales. I just need to figure out a way of matching forum names, to real names (which is never easy...) to figure out payment status.

I absolutely agree with how hard it is to match up the names with their real names. It's a pita!
Is there a note to seller section in the Google checkout? I know paypal has one. Maybe you can have the buyers make a note of their member name and real name...?

Seriously, I really like the look of the LCI tails. I'm just getting in on this group buy for the cables. I agree that $780 is a bit steep for this. If I run across some used LCI tails on ebay, the classifieds, or a salvage yard for cheap I will jump on it. If I change my mind I can always sell the cables and get my money back.
RPI tune might be in my future...
