i own a 2004 bmw 530 auto
whats a Sprint Booster how does it work
so i guess it adds more power if so how much hp,
where you install it
does the check light or anything like that come on,

The SB does not add power, it just reduces the throttle lag by basically tricking the computer to think you've already pressed the gas pedal a certain distance so when you do go to press it, the acceleration is almost instant. Even gear changes seem smoother and the power is immediate. It installs under your gas pedal in about five minutes. Some people have experienced fault codes but that's from either installing it wrong or from a bent pin in the connector. In either case, straightening out the bent pins and reinstalling eliminates any error messages.
Dealers can't void your warranty unless they can prove that your aftermarket part caused the failure of the part you're claiming for warranty work. But to be safe, and since this thing can be removed or installed in less than five minutes, I would remove it before bringing your car to the dealer for service.

c's Bimmer.as i said in other threads im still a student.cant really afford a new SB for 280 or 275$. im looking for used, as im trying to save up as much as possible.,thats y abit from here and there.and there u go, uve saved up for another mod.
