My initial thoughts are "WOW"...drove 10 miles to work, and I was pitching a tent the entire way...

Great feedback John!
I know the SB feels great on but another deciding factor is when you remove it and see how different the car feels without it. I'm missing it already but I don't mind you holding onto it longer to get your full evaluation. Either way, I'll be at my office today.

Drove to work with it on took it off and drove. Driver preference: I think I like a touchier throttle in most situations. It is actually easier to flick sideways and control for me with a touchier throttle, I think. For some reason the stock pedal seems to have a lot of travel. I do not think I need that much travel and when I make it to the track and if I don't like it I can just remove it in about 5-minutes.
BTW, got the faults again (upon removing) and re-started and they all cleared up. For those that see this fault, IMO these fault are probably just caused by the pedal being removed and re-installed as voltage recharges the circuits. The only thing I don't like about this is that they are probably recorded in the fault history so I would take it off if ever bringing it in to the dealer. And if the dealer asks I would tell them "Yeah that comes up whenever I remove an re-install the pedal to clean the carpet. Clears right up, Don't worry about it" or something. I just hate to think this might send them on a wild goose chase or something.
After reading the article I posted a link to previous, I am relieved to know exactly how it works:
-Knowing how it works and that at rest it puts out identical voltage as OEM at rest, I am not concerned about how it will impact other functions of the car it is simply acting as if the throttle is pressed more than it actually is (except at rest).
-Knowing that this does not amplify the signal past the point that the OEM signal voltage is at full throttle even in the 'dead zone', I am not concerned about the dead zone doing any harm to the ECU or TPS (i.e. too much voltage).
They should add a switch or a button with 3 modes (say 0%, 15% and 30%) that could be remotely mounted. Non-M cars could have there own M-button. Makes me think that this is all that is happening with the M button or P400 or even just between P500 and P500S.
Anyways, I think I will be ordering one if I do not quickly get used to the stock feeling again. I think it (if nothing else) compensates for the bit of lack of low end torque inherent with this car and compliments the M5 nicely. When I am warming in P400 or just driving slow in P500 I always get smoked by Mini Vans at the lights. With this on, I notice that I am not as lazy on the throttle or I can be lazier and get off the line quickly. It just feels like you have to floor it to get it to move OEM, especially in P400. With SB that is no longer the case.
BTW, sorry for the long posts, but just thinking this might address others concerns with how exactly it works and potential risks or lack of risk.
With all of this said it comes down to driver preference. There is no right or worng here IMHO. It seems most drivers prefer the touchier throttle. It certainly makes the car feel a ton sportier.
Tony, it is off the car. I could drop it by anytime and re-install it if you want. Thanks again!
