My Ride: MY RIDE is DA real .-) HAMANN 5 aka BLACK MAMBA born on 16/06/2005/delivered on 05/08/2005 as following:

But this can solve our problem. If it is like on this pic I luv it. Water-proof, saves electricity and brighter means safer.
so how about a group buy???
The seller was nice,imediatelly he replied and liked E60 Forum guys, so he said...
if we are 5 people we get it for $268/set.
but wih 10 people only for $248/set.
Some additional info:
The resistor will bypass taillight warning message. It is the brake lights, and tails.
But if we want we may change the reverse to any LED bulbs found on the market.

I think the reverse lights are there, they just moved them to the top, just above the circular light that works as the rear fog/BFD lamp. (If you look at the photo of the back of the light assembly, you can see where this bulb is located.)
The "off-road and show use only" line is a standard disclaimer that you often find on aftermarket lighting accessories when they have not passed any sort of DOT certification. It's the manufacturer's way of trying to avoid any liability if someone gets a fine for having "too bright" bulbs, etc.
Speaking of disclaimers, everything I posted in this thread is pure speculation and should not be deemed as accurate in any way...
