YEA THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!!!!, they will definitely call attention to the license plate area, IMO id say realistically two times brighter than Lexus lights.

how do u remove the housing to replace it with the Rdash unit? i Can't seem to remove it using a flat head screw driver?

I believe your owners manual has DIY, you just need to push pressure on the license plate slot to the right then it should come down.
