Thumbs down

Good morning!

Quaife has developed a limited slip differential to make your non-M E60 a little M .

Check the following thread for having all details :

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=39750

and the clip of 335i with it:

Specs of the differential :

http://birdsauto.com/parts-database/..%5C....E9233928336.pdf

To contact Mr. Kevin for having more details, write him at kevin.birdnospam@birdsauto.com (removing 'nospam') .

The little piece will cost about 850 GBP (1400 EUR or $1800-1900), but for our Group Buy we will have a 10% off .

I guess we can try to pretend a better discount if we will are more than 10 members .

I would make the order in September, after holidays, if you are agree .
Or do you prefer July ?

Who is interested ?

Sounds interesting but I'm going to try the ring and pinion idea first. The 3.73 gearing is available with LSD from RDSport.

Vegas, when you unmount and open your differential you can swap ring and pinion and insert the LSD at the same time .

RD Sport told me wants EUR 5000 for a new differential

All I want is the ring and pinion and maybe the LSD. I'm hoping that RDSport doesn't quote me an arm and a leg! I've seen prices for e46 M3 ring and pinion for little as $500.

If we can gather enough people within July .......
Better, do you think we should link the post also in the E60 section (=2) ?

This might work, since not too many people are surfing in this section.
