I'm starting this group buy on Quaife differential upgrade for a friend of mine (he owns a 2005 545iA and a general manager of Discount Tire).
The original group buy was locked by the moderator. I understand why he did what he did (spamming?), but I still believe this mod, although quite expensive provides the best bang for your buck.

I've communicated with Mr. Harold Lin, and he agreed with the original GB price of $1305 with free shipping and free stub axlesfor five confirmed buyers.
The unit normally sells for $1450, shipping is $15(not included), 2 stub axle seals is $40(not included). That's $200 off .
If you are near San Diego county, Pro Gear can install it for $400. You can still search for other shops for better price, but I can say that they're the expert in diff service .

Harold said that Quaife has applications for 525, 528 and 530i's, but the 535i has not been confirmed and will need the last 7 digits of the VIN and transmission type to verify the application.

Price will be the same for all 5 and 6 series applications.
