Thank you Bruce!

I am indeed a happy customer, the install was straight forward! However, please note that the brackets you supplied do not fit onto the modules. The screw holes do not line up!

I just used double sided tape and some cable ties!

Please don't insult the kit by using double sided tape, I spent many hours designing that bracket and fiting a perfect place to fix the modules. Double sided tape will wear off over time.
The holes absolutely line up but the brackets install at an angle. See this thread and it should become clear what you need to do. Put the brackets on the side opposite the wire exits. Fixing the brackets this way allows the modules to hang from the screw under the lights and at an angle to the car.

The brackets line up but they are angled in to the box.

Take a look at the pic.

I have not yet installed mine but I believe you attach the bracket to the light assy first then screw the bracket to the box.

I have not seen exact instructions on exactly where this is attached but Bruce has mentioned that they need to be installed so the heat properly vents from the holes on the housing.

I am still awaiting my lights from Heiko.

I even got a DIY done in the mean time. I spend so much time of designing my products to make them user friendly but I forget that there is no subsitute for good old instructions.

So here goes https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=83866

I'd recommend using the other side of the wire exits as the mounting point. Again some theory here - if you look through the holes on the side of the wire exits you will see other cables running too. By hanging the module with the wire exits to the bottom to take the hot air away from the cables and through the vents on the top of the module (hot air rises). Just another precaution. But I had the nuts installed on both sides to give people choices.

Will pop a set in the post to you tomorrow.

My other supplier of these lights now has a lot of Hella lights in stock ready to ship out. They are more expensive that Heiko's previous price but they are ready to go in case anyone is interested.

How much? I know things haven't turned out to be easy for heiko's wife, but I'm getting a bit impatient. Sent out few email, got no response at all.
