There is no quad system for the 545i, only a single system.
However a custom quad could be made with our universal exhausts.

So I've been trying to think of every possible option to fit a Remus dual (quad) system on my 545. Remus does not make a dual system for the V8's so I was thinking of using two universal Remus mufflers instead. The problem is that the right side muffler has to fit in the space in between the spare tire compartment and the battery compartment. That space is only about 5" wide and the only way to fit a Remus muffler there is to turn the muffler 90 degrees and put it on it's side (the same way the RD quad is). The only Remus mufflers that would fit in that area are the oval can ones which only come in single tips, not doubles. Even if they did come in double tip versions turning the muffler 90 degrees sideways in order to make it fit the space will make the two tips on top of each other instead of side by side.

The only solution with universals would be to use a regular twin tipped universal on the left side, a single outlet universal on the right, and then get a Remus double tip to attach to the right muffler. It would have to be one of those tips that has a single input and dual output (looks like a Y). I don't know which sizes and styles those are made in.

This leads me to my next question.........if I'm considering using a universal muffler that is not designed for my specific car then wouldn't it be better just to use the dual muffler (quad tip) setup that Remus has available for the 530i, etc.? I know that it is not designed for the 545, but neither are the universals..........at least the 530 dual system will physically fit the 545 and the space restrictions on the right side would not be an issue.

So I would like to know what size and types of dual tips does Remus offer for the 530 dual system as well as any other dual tips (single input to dual tip Y's).

I would also like to hear everyones opinions on using the 530's dual system or a universal system on the 545......Thanks.

Regarding the universal : Your only option would be to sacrifice the quad look and go for single tips oval cans on both side. You could not use the individual tips that we sell (PowerSound tips) since they are not the same look as the Sport tips which are on all of our universal mufflers.

Regarding the specific Quad: This option could work, however you first need to confirm if the piping diameter on the 545i is the same as the 530i.

OK.......thanks for the info. If I decide to go that way I have to find someone with a 530i and measure the pipe diameter.

The group buy is cancelled due to lack of interest.

However, if you wish to order, we offer a 5% off our E60 applications for all members.
