Are you asking if the exhaust needs to be clampled on or welded on?

Price doesnt reflect the discount.
At the moment we have one confirmed, KU350 seems to have dropped out.

We only offer a single system for the 550i, however a custom quad could be made with our universal exhaust at a local exhaust shop.
Single system :

I have a question about the universal mufflers. On the Remus Austria site it says that all the universal models can be fit on cars with an engine power range of 50 to 110KW. The 545i has 245KW. I assume this means that the universal mufflers should not be used on the 545, is that correct? Also, would the max power spec. be twice as much (220KW) if I use two mufflers for a dual muffler/quad pipe setup?
Can you find out from Remus Austria how precise their max power limit of 110KW is and whether I can get away with using two universal mufflers on a 545i with 245KW?
Thanks

Hello Rody,
The 110kw limit is somewhat of an average for 2.25' inlet mufflers.
However, we offer Rev3 universal mufflers, Rev3 is basically a stepped inlet design, 2", 2.25" and 2.5", you simply trim up to your desired inlet diameter.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the stock piping on the E60 is 2.5", so technically, unless you plan on supercharging your beast, you could use 2 of our Rev3 universal mufflers.
Here's an example of the stepped inlet :
Rev3 is only available on the following mufflers:
Square can
Twin Square 003492 0502
Twin turbo 003492 0572TD
Twin Angled 003492 0542
Single Oval 003492 0509
Single Turbo 003492 0570TD
Oval can
Single Round 001490 0505
Single turbo 001490 0570TD

Okay, here's the deal... Remus' new Left/Right system (086003 198) will fit a 525/530 with M-Tech rear bumper. But like any other quad setup, you'll need a quad diffuser (or have your existing diffuser customized). I'm pretty sure the Remus quad will fit an M5 bumper as well (it just makes sense).
As far as this statement is concerned:
I think what Remus is trying to say is that they only include the cutout "template" for the standard bumper. And that they don't offer any type of template if you're using any other bumper. So, basically if you have an M-Tech bumper (or any other bumper), it's on you to make it work. Remus should be more specific about this, instead as stating "Not for M-Technic rear bumper".
How do I know this dual exhaust setup will work with the M-Tech bumper? I just had mine installed with dual "0010 04G" tips. Still waiting on my diffuser though--so I'm diffuserless at the moment.
