I usually never buy replica parts, but this sounds sweet. Count me in if all those features work including the auto-dip, interior switch and puddle lamps.

The puddle lamp MIGHT work even if the replicas don't have this feature. My thought is that people with the Premium package can use the existing LED from the stock mirrors onto the replicas. Again, I reiterate, we will only know AFTER they're fitted to delje08's 545i.

delje08's 545i will be the test mule. Darwin has no idea whether it will fit like OEM yet.

Here's the scoop. Darwin will be using delje08's car as a test mule for the replicas. He's going to receive one to two pairs next week. If the replicas work out fine, he'll start a group buy sometime in the second or third week of September.
What the replicas will have:
1. Auto-dip
2. Blue glass
3. Fully adjustable with interior switch
What the replicas won't have:
1. Auto-fold
2. Auto-dimming. (Electro chromatic glass)
Features that are unknown for now. Darwin will find out for sure after fitting the replicas to delje08's car.
1. Puddle lamps. (Only will work if you have Premium package.)
2. Heated glass.

Okay guys,
Sorry for my late reply, I just got back from LA @ 7am this morning and i only had a few hours of sleep over the weekend.
Like VT said above the mirror will retain most of its basic functions such as autodip, blue anti glare glass and fully adjustable using your interior swith.
It will also have the puddle LED underneath the mirror. The only function that it won't have is the autofold (may be in the near future.).
It will be a plug and play unit, no cutting/drilling neccessary. Based on my past experience with the manufacture, the fit the finish will be 99% OEM Like. Housing Material is ABS plastic.
One sets will include:
- Mirror housings x 2
- Mirror base plates x 2 (Aluminum)
- Electrical Motor plates x 2
- Mirror Glass x 2 ( with the clip lock)
The mirror is scheduled to be release on Sept 3 from the manufacture, so i will have the first sets in maybe a week or two.
More information will be posted as soon as more information is available to me from the manufacture.
Best Regards
Darwin W
