Sick60, the fitment is fine...like I said in my previous post and PM's sent back and forth, when test fitting it you need to shim it up in more than two places. The weight of the ends of the splitter is causing it to sag. Bring it in to a professional shop and believe me it will fit. Have a shop repair the crack and have it fitted properly and it will be just fine.

Like I said you need to shim it up in more than two places, the weight of the splitter is causing the ends to twist and sag causing your fitment issue. Take it in to a shop, it will be fine.

I have provided a this highly detailed artistic drawing detailing where you need to shim.

it wont go up anymore at the end it was shimmed and the splitter is not flexible so if you try to raise it at the sides by the tire then the front wont fit, believe me i tried everything.

@DRANGED
I'm getting instructions as I type this from the seller. He said that if the splitters, is a bit lower on the edges, use 2 bolts on each of the sides then one in the middle, it should even out. This is direct from the shop, they do installation too. Thanks for the effort of trying to install it first. Also the crack, he said that a good body shop can use fiberglass to fill it in, sand it down, then apply new primer, it should look as good as new. Thanks again.

The body shop will heat it up and bolt it on, It will fit once heated and twisted a little bit. Please let the body shop try that. Also did you get the crack fixed?

Anthony, trust me, yours is no different than the rest of our splitters...it will fit if you have it professionally installed.

Pete, no worries. I have no doubt that the cracks can be repaired and that fitment it ok. Everything is fine, everything will work itself out. Thank you again for your help and for providing this group buy, we appreciate your time and the effort you put in to this. I know some of us have been a pain in the ass but don't let it get to you.

come on guys... fishy? you really think i'd pull a fast one like this? plus how is it fishy? i sent some originals to some and some replicas to some? and don't worry, i'm here to resolve it all, eventho its not my place... this groupbuy thing is a bad idea... never happening again from me...
Pete, don't worry. I wholeheartedly appreciate the effort in putting this group-buy together. I really like the Hartge look, so I'm sure my shop can make it work (*hopefully* ) "Fishy" was a reference in the variation of splitters that were shipped, some had serial markings while others didn't, also in difference of weight among them. I do thank you for doing this for the E60.net members

Best regards,
