I'm not a big fan of the external harness to change modes and it seems like most people would keep it in the 'green' mode anyway. So my question is for those of you who had both version 1 and version 2, how does the green mode in version 2 stack up against version 1? If they are comparable then I'm seriously contemplating getting a used V1; although I'm still skeptical how much difference I would see on an '07 525i.

I could be wrong but my understanding was that the V1 was very punchy and some people didn't like it in the Snow / Rain or when their wives drove it. I think the V2 provides a first setting that isn't quite so aggressive. However, I don't know this for a fact.
