There are actually a lot of people who leave the unit installed when they take their car in for service without any issues.
I don't know how much the reset tool costs.

but if you would post your location perhaps a member close to you that has one could offer theirs up to help you out...
some shops carry a gt-1 scanner and those can erase codes as well, I know of a shop that charges $20 for a scan...
again, posting your location and your e60 model helps to answer questions, as LCI e60's s can be a little more sensitive, but even the codes thrown I doubt would void warranty, simply would just show up as an error code, not a manipulation code....

No worries of voiding warranty as long as before u bring it to the dealers and spend 5 minutes to take it off.
V, I'm not up to anything. LOL. Just wanna pass some savings thru to members who want the SB. I just wanted to make sure that all SB's from private classifieds are sold prior posting to this one since this GB may very well KILL their SB sale since the price is so competitive.
I can get ANY SB for ANY car.
