Just got back from RPI, as you can see from Joe's post above 7-10 wtq [with the hood closed ] Definitey had fun on the drive back knowing that the mid-range kicks ass.
Watching Eloy dyno the car is not for the weak at heart, i have never seen a dyno run before and my heart was in my mouth after the first run.

Also got to meet Tom (Fly550) and his new M5. He was getting the RPI exhaust on his M5, that is one clean looking and sick sounding exhaust

Good news. 545i scoops are good to go. We did SEVERAL dyno runs (Navin watched) with the hood closed and we got 7-10wtq and 4-7whp in the low and midrange. Joe will post the dyno graph shortly.
So how do we do the replacement for V2? ....I want a red!

The numbers above are for the v1 scoops on a 545, we don't need
Any replacements.

V2 will be available for the I6 and 545i only when we can get a 545i into RPI. At this point, a Steptronic is a viable alternative. ICEMAN316's 550i is currently at RPI for testing.

This is under the assumption that V1 for 545i made no gains like what happened when we dynoed ICEMAN316's 550i. Navin's dyno today confirmed there is a gain with V1 scoop. So, there will not be a V2 for the 545i.

Is this V1 scoop tested on a 530i or 525i for gains? Is the scoop the same as the 545i/550i's. thanks
