RJ

You screw it on the sides and pop it in. It's an OEM piece that we make a cutout of.

John, first of all thanks for answering all my gazillion question.
Secondly, so this will go on top of my factory bumper?

I know this is something i want down the road. Sooner than later.
I also need to figure out which exhaust/muffler would am i gonna go with too.

I need to start a log book for all my work i want and make priority of which one to do first.
this is seriously getting out of hand. Still have 2 days before i pick up my car.

RJ, its the M-Tech rear bumper diffuser that we cut-out.

For exhaust, I suggest custom like Magnaflow or Borla.

Just bought a 535 and am receiving quotes for the "M-tech" kit.
I thought you can get a diffuser from BMW that was either single or dual outlet, and same with the bumper, but now I'm confused because you're selling a mod that "converts" the M-tech piece to dual outlet.
Can you clarify this for me? I wanna have all my ducks lined up before I pull the trigger.
Lastly; What's the turnaround on this?
TIA
The BMW rear diffuser for the MTech pkg is only a single cut out on the driver's side. To have the dual look, have to get some other diffuser (lower segment on the rear bumper). You can buy a replacement of the MTech with dual cutouts (made as aftermarket product not by BMW) or have a body shop modify your existing one to have two cut outs. You can purchase an M5 rear bumper from BMW which obviously has the Quad set up for dual exhaust. This isn't part of the MTech kit though.
