As interest seemed fairly high (http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=10458&st=15) without even having a group buy, I thought I'd organise one!

DMS are offering E60.net members 25% off their retail prices - so a 535d remap, normally ?1K, would be ?750. I can get pricing for other vehicles if needed.

Please express your interest below! Any questions on the remap, the process etc. let me know and I'll be happy to get answers. Typically it takes 90mins to 2 hours to do.

Interested

Just a thought..

BTW, how comes Skaffa got 310 bhp out of his 530d and the West Circuit one only 260. Seems a big diference to me

Who knows Fred, but before I worried about that I'd want to see them both dyno'd on the same road, one after another, to get proper comparitive figures - very dangerous I always think to try to compare figures from one Dyno with another. Even then, maybe one of the maps has a bigger margin of safety built in that the other?

DMS don't have a rolling road at their premises, but the maps are developed on one. I'm actually being sent the dyno plot for their 535d at some point. DMS aren't claiming to be providing "custom" remaps (far less point with diesels than petrol in any case) so unless you suspect your car may have a fault of some desription that needs diagnosing, not much point stressing the car on a rolling road in my opinion. In fact, it seems a lot of people are DMS'ing their cars from brand or nearly new, and I wouldn't want my car on a dyno before it was run in in any case!

I'll get pricing for 530d and 525d for you guys. Oh, and good point about end date, I'll find out for you.

Ok, pricing info as promised:

535D - ?850+vat retail, E60 forum price ?750 inc vat

530D ?795+vat retail, E60 forum price ?700 inc vat

525D ?695+vat retail, E60 forum price ?612.47 inc vat

Regarding close date, I've sent Mark (forum admininstrator) a message to discuss the possibility of making this a permanent offer to genuine E60 forum members - I'll post once I know if it's ok to do this, otherwise I'll set an end date.

"Before" is obviously as from the factory, after 334bhp and 506 ft-lb.

Clived, im not sure the price for the 525d is actually 25% off. I got a quote e-mailed to me by Mike Cooper @DMS about 3 weeks and he said that it was ?695+VAT.
