Yea the shock collar is stuck. John is getting me new parts and sending them to me. Also just a heads up your gonna need spacers for the front because the stock wheels rub against the coil overs. I bought 10mm and is good now.

Great news, and thanks for the spacer info! I have few questions:

1) By "stock", you are referring to 17x7.5 et43, correct?
2) How much of rubbing did you have with coilover?
3) Was 10mm spacer the minimum clearance you had to have to clear coilover or did you select 10mm since it is a hub-centric? Meaning, what was the absolute minimum clearance you had to have?
4) With 10mm spacer, how flush are you with fender?

I have 19x8.5 et43 summer wheel/tire, so I knew I was to get 10mm spacer at least based on stock vs aftermarket wheel spec. But with your info on rubbing with stock wheel, I might need to reconsider my spacer and/or wheel spec again :\

I installed mine but its not low enough, looks almost like factory sport height, so I am going back for adjustment I will let u guys know if mine starts rubbing.
I am currently running on 19x8.5 as well.
I notice the ride being a bit bumpy and harsh, do you guys feel that?
I never sat inside a KW V3 before, but I have on a V2 335xi, it feels much more balance.

1) yea Im talking about the stock wheels..
2) very little rubbing with the coil over
3) i could have gotten away with a 5mm but they didnt have any in stock.
4) not really that flush

I think the 10mm with be fine for your summer set up

Yea i felt the same way. It wasn't low enough for me either. Let me know how it works out after you readjust it.
I only drove the car from the shop to my house but yea it was harder then I expected it to be. I'm gonna play with the dampening and hope it gets smoother.
My boy has the KW V3 in his 5 series and it rides just like stock at any height.

Pumbaa and 04tl, can you guys post pics? Are you saying with lowest setting, it is not low enough or you have some more room left for adjustment?

Are you running any spacers with your current setup? What is your wheel offset?
