My apologies. I was out sick Friday afternoon and just got back to the office. Shoot me a PM with your contact info and I will get the ball rolling for this.

On the free tool kit and free sound deadener front. As I said, if someone called and bought the kit and purchased a tool kit they may get a free sound deadener kit. That is 19.99 verses an extra 58.99 or 69.99 off(10% vs 20%). Unless Zach, my salesman, uses his ninja skills and was pretty sneaky I don't know of anyone that got a free tool kit, free sound deadener, free shipping and got 10% off. So 20% off and free shipping is what the group buy would be. That is not to say if you buy a tool kit you won't get free sound deadener. That is just a 'gift' that shipping throws in there sometimes. Mostly at random

Sound deadener goes on the door panel to add mass. The speaker is mounted to the door so we want to add mass to reduce resonance which in turn increases the overall sound quality. And BMW doesn't seem to feel the need for any sound deadening on the panel itself so this helps with road noise as well

List is filling up quick! We will be able to start placing some orders and get the ball rolling.

Sorry Halston, but I am not a fan of this way of doing business at all. The "sometimes we throw it in because we feel like it" mentality doesn't fly with me personally. Making some people happy at the expense of others is a bit ridiculous. Let's reward the people who didn't order it by sometimes throwing it in for free. Haha to the people who paid for it.

In my opinion you either include it or you don't...

This practice probably works fine and makes people happy when they are single buyers and they get an "extra" but doing this with a group of people who all talk and communicate together doesn't make much sense.

I understand where you are coming from. It is less a 'random' occurrence than I made it out to be. If someone orders a Stage 1, subwoofer and iPod kit for their 2003 M5 and they got a tool kit as well but opted out of the sound deadening. That would get free sound deadening. It is a 'thank you' for your order and doing business with BSW.

In the end 20% off 589.99 is 117.98. If a customer called and said they were on "internet forum" they could get the 10% off in most cases. We would not then throw in 50 dollars worth of a free tool kit and free sound deadening.

20% off 699.99 is 139.98 off. Again, same applies as above.

The 20% off and free shipping is the largest group buy deal that has ever been given by BSW. We don't normally drop sales down that low as many times we have trouble keeping items in stock in the first place. In this case there seemed to have been a lot of interest and a lot of guys looking to order so I thought I would give it a shot to see how it may work out. So I went with the 20% which most members in the other thread deemed a reasonable amount of discount for the amount of people interested. This lead to members asking for another 50 dollars off in 'free tool kit and sound deadening'. Unfortunately it simply will not be possible to do that.

Halston, how hard is it to install this kit by myself. Is their a video and picture pdf file which shows the installation process step-by-step, otherwise I may get it professionally installed. What is a reasonable price to pay for a professional audio technician to do the install for me, approximately how many hours does it normally take for the install? thanks

I found the PDF http://bavariansoundwerks.com/product-extr...edan_Logic7.pdf but I like to see the video in which there are references 'bout the video in that PDF.

I'll be in the group buy for the M5 Logic 7 (11 speaker). I already purchased Halston toolkit.

I am working on the video. We have to use some other type of hosting. Getting into it we thought embedding youtube would be great. Turns out they think all of the videos are copies. My guess is a computer glances at it and an e46 M3 door panel looks really close to an e60

So we are working on it. We haven't released the video yet and all of the current customers have installed with the PDF. In the time I work on fixing video and getting something up I would not hesitate to install with the PDF.

*GROUP BUY*

If you are in and interested please PM me. Let's get some orders into the system and items shipping.

Time will be for you to install 2-4 hours.

Shop should charge ~2 hours of labor.
