did anyone install it ?
Nope. The group buy never happened. As soon as it appeared we had enough people, I contacted everyone to verify before I went back to Active Autowerke to let them know we were ready, and I was ignored by everyone who had signed up. Oh well...that's the last time I try to set up a group buy.

Regardless of what happened with the group buy, in the next 6-8 months I will be installing either the AA supercharger or an ESS twin screw, and I'll definitely be posting reviews and more info.

what made you think this was going to fit a 530i anyways, the way the engine is designed is defferent. Even the 535i from 530i. our 530i is not just to install a supercharger, is a lot more complicated than just plug 'n' play.

Read the 1st post. AA has stated that they will fit 530i's, and they already have several customers that have installed them on e60 530i's. The only issue is if you want to upgrade to the stage 2, the intercooler piping doesn't fit around the e60 radiator, so that portion needs to be custom fabricated.

I will be swinging by AAW again byt the next 3 days. Last time I went the guy told me they were coming out with a new program for the e60. That they had just finished testing and they were mass producing at the moment. HP gain and more, hopefully i can get more insight this week!
