Hi all,

Had Amber Engine light appear on the dashboard, called AA, they advised fault code 2BA100.

Researching suggests some kind of sensor related to the DPF, but not specific to the G30. My car is a 2018(68) plate 520d MSport, with the N57 engine I believe, only done 25K miles, been sitting a lot since Covid. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I note the sensor in question in the USA is subject to free post warranty repair - part has a 10 year guarantee, article - https://bmwrepairguide.com/sib/010418.pdf but can't find anything equivalent for the UK.

It's in at the dealer ATM, so will know more in the next few days, however any input appreciated.

I don't see anything on the G30 for extended warranty in no country. I'm pretty sure eventually there will be. Either take it to BMW to get it fixed and when they do extend the warranty you'll be refunded or tackle the job yourself.

Thanks, took it in and got it done.

Anyone know where I can get hold of the latest ISTA-D / ISTA-P <- want to be able to read / erase error codes in the future, appreciate any help getting the software with G30 data.

Are you looking for the latest ISTA+ which is a paid version or an offline ISTA+ which is not the latest but accomplishes the same outcome. Difference is the latest allows you to update your car to the version of the latest installed.

You own a later model car and it doesn't use ISTA D/P.

did they tell you what the issue is got the same thing one a 2019 320d G20 ? And I don’t know what sensor is gone
