I’m planning to order a 2021 540i xDrive. One of the available packages is the Luxury Seating Package which includes “Multi-contour seats.”

What exactly are Multi-contour seats? How are they different from the standard seats?

In my 2007 530xi, they are just called "comfort seats". I imagine with improvements, the 2021 G30 will have something similar to what Ford has:
