Not really good, nothing special and looks strange. Like an odd mix between 1 hatchback , 5er and a x3 . I think the fact that this is a 5er hatchback version put most of us off. I bet the proper sedan version will be much better.

My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i
2006 BMW X3
I saw my first 5 Series GT today at Hendrick BMW. I was in for minor service on the Z4. Since I had my camera, I snapped a few pics.
It's better in person but is just not for me. The new 5 should be better. I do like the interior. Unfortunately the car was locked up when I took the pics so no interior shots. The salesman said its more Grand Touring than the E60 550i sport. I read that as not as sharp handling. He did claim it handles better than the new 7. The car I saw is the launch model. I don't recall the base price but it was fully loaded and stickered for $90,000!

Hey upspace, we got the cars at almost the same day :-)
I got mine in Basel on 26/04. So I guess we are the founders of the GT club of Switzerland!
Are you enjoying?
This is my baby, on our last weekend trip to Fussen.
