That is the ugliest looking BMW ever. How could BMW engineers do that??

Not very good photo shooting weather though... I think it could be a fun alternative for us touring people! From what I've heard the prices will start from 55.700? in Germany for the 530d.

lol! That was exactly my reaction to the E60 when it came out. I'm confident that it will look much better irl.
This car isn't the new 5 series sport sedan it is the GT though.
Only thing I don't like about the GT is it sits higher ( almost like a crossover SUV ) and the slopped off rear.
Other than that its ok looking.
On the other hand the new 5 series F10 looks quite nice to me.

Since this thread now is moved, why is there no F07 sub forum?

So the 5-series GT is no 5-series? Even the 6-series has one...

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
Maybe if they would have stretched the trunk out a bit longer, it would flow better. The back end just ends so abruptly, it just looks plain weird.
I liked that S-H-I-T acronym earlier, Strange Hatchback with Integrated Trunk priceless

You know, that car is really growing on me......It looks a hell of a lot better in the real world than the BMW promo pictures.
Maybe I am just getting used to seeing the strange shape, I don't know, but it definately is growing on me, I could even say I like it.
The reall test will be when the F10 touring (sports wagon) arrives. The wagon / touring always looks so much more attractive than the sedan in German cars.
And from a driver perspective there is no difference in driving feel between sedan / wagon. I think the race circuit lap times for both are different by 02 second (no difference at all).
