It looks like this will be applicable to the F11 also (the parts pictures show the same type of leveling sensor and link rod as the E61):

I know it works this way, my F11 has been lowered +/- 25mm with a Eibach Pro Kit. My Car has active dampers / roll / steering and it all works perfect! The ride is way better than default, more like the E61 m sports I used to own. Looks way better to with my 20". ;-)
