F11 550i out of production in UK
As of February 2014, the 550i Touring has been deleted from BMW's UK website.
In spite of improvements in CO2 emissions from 250 in earlier versions to something around 205 resulting in lower UK Road Tax, it has gone. BMW won't say why or whether it will ever come back. Strange as the 550i engine is still available in the saloon and GT versions.
For me it is a disappointment as I was going to have a splash out for my last end of life car - yes I am nearing the end! Some EU BMW dealers still do it at the moment but left hand drive is not really very good in the UK. Just thought this may interest somebody.
