As of today, the M5 is still not listed as an available model on the BMWUSA site.

Yeah, when I first found this link, they still had not added the Individual interior/trims. But the configurator has changed over the last couple days. This is the beta until all the kinks are worked out, then we will see it on the home page etc..

Seems like it is up for real now. It is almost impossible to option it over 100K. Did they lower the price? Seems like it is priced
amazingly well.

How did nobody comment about the manual transmission??????? Is it a 6 speed or a 7, like in the 911?

It is a 7-speed M-DCT. Same as in the current M3. No more SMG.

I think the true manual transmission cars (the ones with a clutch pedal) are destined for the US market only and will have the 6 speed transmission. Same as the previous 2 M5's
