My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.

The current CTS-V has already been pushed to 700hp by the aftermarket tuners.

A TT-V10 would be a logical choice since the last M5 had an NA-V10 and the TT-V8 is already being used in the X5/6M cars.

Regardless of how old the article is - until the car is officially released, one could only hope.

couple things.

the new m5 wont have a tt v10. and it doesnt take a lot to get 700 hp out of the caddy. also, when you read about the hp they are getting out of these things, its generally RWHP... the ctsv puts down about 500hp to the ground bone stock with a conservative tune on pump gas.

absolutely, the story goes that originally M was in fact going down the path of a TT V10, but, in the past year changed course and the resultant green move made that impossible, thus the move to the TT V8
