small number of cars effected from what i know..bad batch of oil pumps from the company that was sourced to make them for bmw...bmw has already contacted owners effected by this bad batch and has advised them not to drive until the pump is switched out...I know of one owner here in so cal that got the call from his dealership while another owner was not effected by it...so long as this doesn't turn into an n54 hpfp debacle should be an easy fix....
