IMO not much has gone into design on this car, a blown up E90 M3 is all it is, and the additional weight over the 550i M Sport is huge. A Barge.
I have heard the listed price in the UK is GBP73,000.
A 550i with all the listed add ons (HUD, better brakes, lesser turbo lag, more power - where the M5's body should be somewhat reinforced to accomodate the extra power... oh and the M's LSD) would cost near a new M5, so M5 is still a better choice over a 550i sport. Just my 0.02...

I have been informed it will be £75K basic.

no, no, no.

it looks nothing like a taurus. the side vents are shitty and need to lose the chrome ring. the chrome ring is similar to the shitty chrome ringed vent on the taurus but that, and the crease that comes off the top of the vent, is where any similarity stops.

He was talking about the fender air vents only, I believe. And they are very reminiscent.

More disturbingly, I saw yet another car with similar vents on the road yesterday:

I have the new 550i M Sport and TBH finding another £25K+ for the same basic car to me is mental.
My RV will need £25K I would think to be added to buy this car, here in the UK I am not getting the use of the power of the 550i as it's so good, so M5 just a badge here IMO.

The RS6 is a four wheel drive.

I would say it's for the ultimate BMW M5 fan. Looking for the driving pleasure only an M BMW can give,
as the M3 is in it's class.
