My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.
Front is def boring... at least in the pic posted, rear looks quite a lot like 7 series, exact same lights. Seems a bit boring... but hey we always criticized the e60's also besides the V10 engine.. didn't we? 
I think BM's now a days just grows on you.. Takes time.
