Also seen for the first time in these photos is the M5's S63 motor (4.4L twin turbo, twin scroll, direct injection V8 from the X6M/X5M). The S63 is expected to be tweaked for the M5 to produce more power than the X6M/X5M. We believe it could come in at the 585-600hp mark.

Well the X5M already puts out 555hp so it wouldn't be totally out of the realm of possibilities. But, it'll probably be more like 575-585hp IMO.
BBS FI wheels!? Those aren't actually going to come with the M5 right?

It looks like the F10 M5 engine has been tweaked more than a little from the X5 M engine ...

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)
Wow. Always nice to get a sneak peek before the formal introductions. Now to find a way to pick up the F10 and still hang on to the E60...
