Hello !
Recently I had a moisture in my right Led eyebrow and it worked just fine, but I had a stupid idea to get the moisture out by taking the headlight out and puting it in a warm place (near the radiator) I waited for about 4 days and nothing changed so I decided to put my headlight back. Now my headlights right eyebrow is not working proper, only 2 leadlights is now working on that right eyebrow and is not as bright as before. Left side is working just fine but the right side eyebrow is having problems. So I would like to ask for a suggestions! What should I do? Is there any fuse I need to change? Is there any wire or any other method to fix this? Thanks |
You already made a thread about this, right? And you still have an E60?
https://5series.net/forums/topic/115...1#entry1370393 Did you try an external power supply trick? If you did and it didn't help, I think the only way is to cut the LED section open and change the leds. There are some threads about that on the forums. - Antti - |

You should connect it straight to the eyebrow.

Will it charge with only 12V, I just can't find power supply with 17V !? Maybe you could suggest witch power supply to use?
Thanks |
An exteranl power supply will not charge anything, but with a adjustable power supply you can give more volts for the eyebrow to make it light up.
With a 17V they surely will be lightened up, but I'm not sure would it be good idea to give them 17V for a long time. I have a self made adjustable power supply. - Antti - |

To connect the power supply into the eyebrow, I cut the eyebrow power wire and put a simple computer power connector between the cut ends. Then I put the same kind of plug into my adjustable power supply too. Now I can change between the original power wire (from car) to my power supply, if needed. Like this:
