By referencing to Dinan's website, the X6 & 750 with the 4.4L TT V8, they were able to increase hp to 495 (+95) and tq to 573 (+123). But for $3000 ... Wow, that's crazy !!

$3000 for almost 100HP and 100+TQ that's great for the price, especially from Dinan. There shouldn't be any issue what so ever.

Been waiting to start seeing what the TTV8 was going to see from aftermarket tuners. That is near M territory in HP and WAY more torque that the V10 now. It has convinced my my strategy for a PLAIN 'ol F12 is the way to go and for ~$3k get to teh next level. Dinan is generally more expensive than the other tuners, but then you do get some tight integration with the BMW folks on the plus side.

Theres alot cheaper tunes out there for at least 50% off with the same gains..my brother got his X6 50 tuned by Eurocharge for $1500 and hes at 470hp and 580 trq to the crank..Stage 2 btw PSI is now at 9 instead of the stock 7..beast

Sounds smart! I too may go this route with Dinan rateher than M, though I wonder if additional cooling may be needed with the upgrade...only other question is, 4doors or 2!

Oh, yea, I know 3k is worst case. I would guess there will be 3-4 quality tuners in the ~1k - 1.5k range near the Dinan numbers. I personally do not have to have Dinan, as I see the x35i folks getting a lot of performance AND service from the JBs, vishnu (Proceed) vendors. I would not be scared off at all by these vendors. I just want proven solid performance from a vendor that is service oriented. And the more competition the better. Not only will there be the numbers game but features such as on the fly changes and multiple maps, etc.

Always had great results with Dinan stuff. It fits, it works and makes your car better with no down sides

+1000 $30 per HP is a great deal. Most times you'll spend triple that per HP

Just curious what would 0-60 be with this package?

4.4 sec 0-60mph. only about 0.5 sec improvement from stock. IMO. Not worth the $$$
