Hey everyone, just have a simple questions but not sure how simple is it in reality to happen. I used to have a 2004 E60 and was thinking of installing LED tail lights on it. Then I found out they might not work because they must be programmed, which usually takes a few hours at BMW service, which is pretty costly and at the end it might not work or what is even worse a computer on the car might go bad
Now I have a 2011 535xi, and I have a friend who owns a 2014 550xi and he might want to consider switching with me
So before going on and doing the switch I just want to assure myself that I'm not rushing. That's why I decided to ask the professionals on this forum or other people who might have thought of doing the same.
1. Will his headlights work on my car?
2. Will my headlights work on his car?
