I don't know Diamond and don't think he was part of this thread.
Geobmw did you test drive your F10 before you order it?
I was exited to drive the F10 loaner but became disheartened.
The F10 is just to soft and big for me. I guess that BMW will be enlarging the new 3 in 2012 that might be a better car for me.
The F10 is built off the 7 chaise and is a sporty version of a 7 with the right options. If that is what you are seeking it is a nice car.
It is a great highway cruiser.

Yes, I test drove F10 550 xDrive with DHP and the car was soft in normal mode but sport and sport+ transforms the car. In terms of dynamics, it felt same way (no better, no worse) as my beloved 2008 550i, but F10 was noticably faster and transmission was so smooth. My commute is mostly through hilly and twisty roads and do no feel the increased size/weight of F10 comparing to e60. It is fun to drive car with added luxury features.

I will have to test drive a F10 with DHP; is that a option on the 535XI?

I test drove f10 twice, thinking that the first impresion was not enough. The car might be briliant from the technical point of view, but for me the main impressions are: BORRING and UNINSPIRING ... why to pay lots of money for a borring thing? I hope F30 turns out nicer and will also wait before the new A6 becomes available for a test drive

Seems like you also have to order the sport package when you order DHP
When I was done I had a car costing over $65,000.
