Mostly I didn't want to wait for the F11, if it were out back then I'm pretty sure I would have one now. But also it was because I was very disappointed with my dealer after a issue with a warranty case. The E is a very solid and luxurious car, no issues at all. I'm pretty sure that I will own a F10/F11 at some point in the future...

From what I can sense from IPP's comments, in a not so very distant future.

Hello all it's been a while! Happy New Year to all the forums members. dayvboyc i'm in New York and we just had a pretty bad snow storm. I have summer tires on my OZ wheels and winter snow tires on my OE wheels. last year (2009) I hit a major pothole and damaged the passenger side tries front and rear. This year (2010) I searched all over for replacement tires of the same brand ( Dunlop winter sport M3's ) to no avail. This had alot to do with the size of the tires because of my offset. I decided to search for all seasons and after much research I bought these ( Ultra high performance all season Continental extreme contact DWS) DWS stands for dry, wet and snow. I received them on December 10th and had them installed a couple of days before the snow storm. The ride is like night and day. They performed extremely well in the snow and slush and i'm extremely happy with the purchase. The car feels and drives like new. Look them up you won't be sorry.

Good luck, Rick.

DWS tires seem to be a very good choice for muddy/slushy winter roads where the road surface don't freeze.
For icy/packed snow conditions, I highly recommend studded or maybe studless M+S (Mud and Snow) tires.
