Where is the handbrake?

My Ride: Mini Cooper
I was looking at the intee and did not find the handbrake 
is it same as the Audi A4 which is Auto handbrake
can some 1 tell us where it is?

it is in the center console right behind the shifter. there are 2 buttons: the bottom button says "auto" and the 1 above that is the parking brake "P". it should be electronic just like the audi A6 & A8.
