if you decide to order your F10, you'd be able to lock in November, December, or even january lease rates. Currently there is a $1500 Holiday credit as well, but you must take delivery before 1/3/2011 tot ake advantage of the credit...

okay: regarding the LED headlights...not sure what you mean. If you get the xenon headlamps, the F10 will come equipped with the newly designed LED angel eyes/halo's...if you are asking about LED's similar to audi's, MB, and Porsche,..then no, BMW AFAIK does not plan to create headlights like that...

hate to disagree, but, infact, BMW has already announced that LED headlights will be available on the new F12 6 series!!!!

sorry Rudy!!!!!

this was from the Press Release u posted btw of the Concept and other articles noted it will be perhaps optional but available on the F12...

Innovative technology, enhanced styling, typical BMW night-time look: all-LED twin round headlights make their debut.
The characteristic front-end appearance of the BMW Concept 6 Series Coupe is partly down to the typical BMW twin round headlights. The outward-pointing top part of the trapezoidal headlight housing guides the eye to the widely flared wheel arches.
With this concept model, BMW is for the first time presenting all-LED headlights with Adaptive Headlight functionality. LEDs are used for all functions, from the dipped and main beam to the sidelights and daytime running lights, and the direction indicators. The LED accent lights which cut across the top of the twin round headlights create the hooded, intent look characteristic of BMW models.

I think Rudy and Gene are not talking about the headlights themselves but the LED strips that MB and Audi are using as DRL. Hopefully BMW is sticking with the angel eyes and going the same route as the others...

Maybe I misunderstood the issue...I understand that LED headlights are the future, etc. and that probably all manufacturers will eventually switch over to them. I have no problem with this concept.

What I'm not thrilled about is the look of the LED DRLs or "accent" lights that Audi, MB, and Porsche currently use. I'm just not into the "string of pearls" look where you see a bunch of LEDs in a row or in some curvy shape. I much prefer using LEDs that don't end up looking like a string of LEDs...does that make sense now?

i think they shall, the new 6er will still have the angel eyes as LEDs and would expect the new cars to continue in this

Oh I agree, if you are going to use the tech, make it unique and not just a strip that looks like it was stuck on as an afterthought as these other manufacturers strips do....thats whats been great about BMW, both in the current use, as well as the future....the 6er an lci e60 has the right idea, you dont see the leds, the just glow the rods and give that great appearance at nite

Those lease rates are atrocious. Better to wait until Jan/Feb. Although since it's a new model they may try to keep the rates higher. 1er is at 0.00125 and 3er is at 0.00140

For anyone wanting to buy one, people are already getting invoice (or at least $500 over invoice) on the F10s, so no need to wait if you're purchasing.
