Just ordered new F10 to replace my E60 520d msport auto. Gone for 520d msport, titanium silver with black leather, sport auto, fineline anthracite trim, ambient lighting, Prof Nav, Prof HIFI, DAB, 19in 351 msport alloys, sun protection glass. Most driving is in daytime or on short night journeys in town/A roads so unsure over adding Xenons as finding hard to justify £1200 more. Also, views on Msport spoiler?

Any ideas/advice much appreciated.

Why not just order Xenons and not the vis pack.....save a few hundred quid?
That's what I did as cannot see the point in adaptive lights....got them on my Audi and to be honest unless you live in Sherwood Forest I would just tick the xenon box!

Have Vis. Pack on my 520d Se Touring and was originally sceptical as to its value/usefulness,however after a long accident derived detour through Kent country lanes late one sunday night, thought that the extra for the pack over the straight Xenons had paid fot itself on that journey alone. Both extras(Adaptive and High Beam assist)worked a treat, esp the High beam.combined with the Pro Nav,turned a potentially stressful detour into a mere bagatelle! You won't regret it,and you already have the other"essentials"so go for it!

I had an e60 with vis pack. Now onto F11 with same and there's no looking back. It's literally like night and day... Go for Xenons. I Agree with 1970 Jon though - adaptive is good but full beam assistant a bit pointless...

Thanks for the feedback. Advice taken and added the vis pack. Good to have some impartial views to help with these decisions.
