Good to know! Not that I'd be in the market for a MB, but just to know that the BMW still does well!! Never would have thought it wouldn't though!

I'm just wondering why such an small amount of members noticed this very important news?

No one interested in car safety nor pollution

To be honest I expected 5 stars, but it's nice to see good scores within the 5 star classification

I noticed too. I'm not sure why everybody is saying they never would have expected anything else than 5 stars, since the last one performed poorly. It got 3 stars initially and then 4 after BMW made some engineering adjustments. Glad to see they have addressed this shortcoming!

Fantastic to see that BMW has taken safety to a higher level. With the relatively bad results with the E6x this is a huge leap forward.
As far as I can see, BMW have excelled in all areas - Design, environmental and safety.
