Test drove 2012 335i and 550i today. Both are loaded and have sports. 550i has M Sports.

Liked new 335i a lot. 550i is definitely quieter (less wind noise) and of course bigger (especially in the back). Both felt fast and effortless. In comparison, my current E60 550 felt heavier and lazier than F10 550i. Don't know why...

Still Don't like auto transmissions ...

My next car will likely be 3 series. 3 series is getting big enough for me. 5 series is getting too big.
However, for now, I will keep my E60 for a few more years.

So did you find the new 3 to be big enough? How would you compare e60 to new 3 in terms of inside room?

F30 335i has more interior room than E60. Actually, it even has more room in the back than F10 5er. 41.3 vs 42 inches. Not much, but still. Basically, F30 3er is the same size inside as F60.

Its probably the 100 HP it has on our E60's...

I test drove a 2012 335, Our E60 5 Series is Definitely roomier. Both pretty quick. Some turbo lag on the 335 but as soon as it kicks in it pulls hard. Not sure which would win a race since the 5 series E60 550i is heavier.
