Did I read correctly that the F10 will have a 4 wheel steering option?

Where can I read a discussion about that?

Thanks, sixcard

Four wheel steering is not exactly what you might be imagining. The fronts work the same, there is a hydro/electric pivot in the rear wheel assembly that turns the wheels in and out only a few degrees. While you are going slowly they are counter-phase (turn opposite direction as fronts) and when you go faster they are in-phase (same direction as fronts).
It gives you a tighter turning radius when driving slow and less yaw and enhancing stability when turning at high speeds.
Its not new, some GM/Chevy pickup trucks had it inder the name Quadrasteer. Also here is a list of other cars with the option:

Thanks Penneta,

You are right it is not like the huge end-loader I drove on occasion in the 70s.

Much obliged,
