F10 Discussion Anything and everything to do with the F10 5 Series. The F10 made it's debut in 2010 as a MY2011.

This seems like good news

Testing the TT V8 in the new 7 series yielded some strong numbers (these figures are at the rear wheel): 391 HP 434 lb-ft

So the actual power may be closer to 450 HP than the rated 400 HP. Nice. Can't wait to see it in the F10.

Wow! The 394hp M5 dyno'd at around 340 hp. And that was on a good day without heat soak.

Yeah! All we know that. same thing happened to 3.0 TT. BMW rated as 300hp/300tq (dynoed as 330hp). Same thing happens to 4.4 V8 TT.

Imagine putting the JB3/Procede on V8 TT!

That's great power. Should make the next 550 a rocket.

These leaked GT shots aren't really all that promising though. I dunno if I could stomach an ugly car that goes fast. Exotic cars are one thing, but a BMW is something else. Lexus is another brand that's going through a similar crisis; the ES and the RX are getting progressively uglier, while the LS gets better.

The rated 400 hp by BMW is at the rear wheel, so this showed a little low output. Different Dynos and conditions, different outputs.

BMW only rates engine output, not rear wheel output.
