The F10 528i . I think I would have compromised the 5% handling deterioration for all the looks and the extra luxury and comfort of the F10.

However, since the E60 530i is at 70% of the price of the F10 528i, I decided to go with the E60 and enjoy the corners .

The F10 535i has not yet been tested by Road and Track. However, it was tested by Motortrend, Edmunds's IL, C&D, AutoCar, EVO, and other magazines. I think I have posted most of the tests results in earlier threads.

The good thing about R&T is the Test Data Sheet which compiles all the numbers together in a standardised format.

For those still cryin about F10's size & weight, get over it and go buy a 3. It is what it is.

Have a nice day.

What boggles my mind is that why the 550i is slower than the 750i even though it is moving less weight. Could BMW detuned the F10 to make the F01 looks better on paper in terms of performance?

I have seen low 13's at 108mph from the F01 750i.

The new A6/S6 with 3.0T or possible V8T is looking better and better.

Motor Trend's recent tests has the 550i at 4.8s 0-60 and the 750i at 4.9s......pretty much identical. You have to remember though that these kinds of tests are subject to all sorts of variables......weather, road conditions, driver skill, etc.

The Audi A6 3.0T or even the new A8 will not match these numbers....for that you have to get a S6 but that is more $$$.

For more power, just get a Dinan chip (<$3K) and you could turn the 550i into a 500+hp monster!

The 650i Is a full 1/2 second SLOWER here in the uk, it's carrying more weight as well, I test drove one and it felt significantly slower that my 550i M Sport.
