They have already put the DCT in the plain jane 335i (not an M) and already in the hands of Europeans today
Well, actually they put it in the 335i Coupe only (not the sedan). At least in my country. Is it an indication of what they intend to do for the F10? I don't know, but if they don't put it on the 3-series sedan, it is even less probable to see on the 5-series. Also, based on marketing material related to the SAT, it appears that for BMW (not necessarily for us!) the SAT "replaced" the SMG on the E60.

I would love to see the DCT on the F10 too, but, at this stage, I am skeptical.

In my humble opinion that will include the DCT on the F10 Sport Models. The world's economies will likely be slow at launch and they will need all of the boost that they can get in order to sell cars.

Last month's roundel mentions new F01 7 series model designations:

740i - TT 3.0 I6
750i - TT 4.4 V8

Wouldn't it make more sense if F10 5 series also had these same models (+ 530i) ?
+1

The current F01 3.0 TT engine has already 326 hp / 450 Nm and the 4.4 TT 407 hp / 600 Nm.

But the hp and torques will not increase a lot for the F10 do to emission registration.

A F10 530i will have some 300 hp and 340 Nm.

But the F10/11 530d and 535d will have the most interesting engines.

The new 3.0d has already 245 hp / 520 Nm (E90/91 and F01/02).

this is bogus and only speculation.

BMW would never release this stupidity:
540i/540Xi 4.4 liter bi turbo V8 with 410 hrp
550i/550xi 4.8 liter V8 with 360 hrp

...to show you how unreliable the source is.
